TeacherTube (https://www.teachertube.com/) is an online video platform geared for teachers to empower their students learning in the classroom. TeacherTube offers educational and instructional videos for those in college all the way down to the Elementary level. TeacherTube provides a safe place to share online videos where teachers can upload videos of instruction and play educational videos to meet the needs of all learners.
As an Early Childhood Educator, I know firsthand the attention span of my students. Not only is the attention span of little learners short, but their way of learning also varies. Some students can be auditory learners, visual learners, kinesthetic learners, or a mix of all. TeacherTube provides a safer alternative than YouTube for students to watch educational videos and songs on. TeacherTube offers teachers the ability to remove ads at a monthly, quarterly, or yearly price. This is offered through the TeacherTube Pro.
With TeacherTube, educators can choose from a variety of subjects ranging from Language Arts, Science, Math, History, Social Studies, and more that you can select from in their More tab. TeacherTube also gives teachers the ability to find lessons in their search box at the top of their page. Just type down the skill, subject, topic you are wanting to see, and click enter. TeacherTube will then populate a list of tools and resources of what you had search for. So if you are looking for a safer way to play educational videos in the classroom with no ads and want extra resources, TeacherTube is the way to go.
