Crayola for Educators (https://www.crayola.com/) is a website that offers educators fun and innovative ideas to use in their everyday classroom. Not only does it offer fun and innovative ideas, the Crayola for Educators website also features its products and where you can find them. Browsing through the site, you will be able to find lesson plans that incorporate art and are aligned to subjects and standards, projects and crafts, along with tools and resources to help educators advance their knowledge through newsletters, learning videos, and fun learning events.
As an educator, I found many things from the website useful. Crayola offers free coloring pages to print and download, gives you do-it-yourself craft projects and ideas along with its steps, instructions, and materials, and provides a variety of lesson plans to incorporate into the classroom. These lesson plans come with step by step instruction, has a list of materials needed, standards aligned with it and the grade level it is for, and even offers ways to adapt it.
Another cool thing I found was that the Crayola for Educators also offers educators tips and techniques on using their products. Teachers can look through the many tips and techniques to help students advance and mature in their art skills when using simple items such as crayons, glue, paint, markers, etc. Besides all of these cool features on the Crayola for Educators website, you can also find apps by Crayola. The first app is called Create and Play and offers a free 7-day trial. Create and Play teaches spelling, code, reading, and so much more through the use of creative art activities. The second app is called Scribble Scrubble, which is geared for those who love animals.
